We cannot imagine working with an inexperienced realtor like my cousins’ past experiences. “I guess you get what you pay for.” Patrick taught us so much about homes and the home-buying process and showed us he truly cares. Since then, we have seen many homes throughout 4 northern New Jersey counties and several offers submitted in this volatile sellers’ market. He has said, “I have to tell you these things because if I don’t, I won’t be able to sleep at night,” and he stands by it. God will bless this man if he hasn’t already. Patrick delivers an A+ on customer service experience,ce and he is loyal to his clients. Fast forward to the present. It's about 7 months later, and we finally have an offer that has been accepted. Patrick provided a strategic plan to get our offer accepted, but it was up to us to step up to the plate to become the winning buyers. Patrick recommended a mortgage rep that outperformed our nationally acclaimed bank, and he gave us side-by-side rate options and terms that we could not refuse. We asked Patrick to review the home inspection report with us, and he interacted with our attorney after the seller did not want to address a minor repair to prevent a big problem in the future. Patrick went to bat for us, making his point across with an inspection photo; as a result, we were offered a $1,500 credit at closing and other repairs the seller agreed to. Mind you, this was an as-is sale from the start. A last-minute crisis came up a few hours before closing, our nerves and anxiety were running high, and we called Patrick, and he contacted all parties to resolve the issue to our satisfaction. Down to the wire, Patrick was there to defend us. We cannot imagine what this experience would be like without Patrick Baratta and his team of professionals in our corner. A week after we moved in, Patrick showed up at our new home to make sure we were settled in.
